I live in NYC and want to file a motion to end my probation early. I was sentenced to 5 years probation and have completed about 3 years and 4 months without violations. My probation is out of Westchester County, NY, but I live in the Bronx, so it was transferred to the NYC Bronx office.
I understand that navigating the probation process can be challenging. Have you already discussed your desire to end your probation early with your probation officer?
I have discussed it with her, but she is dismissive about it when I bring it up.

I want to move out of state and take a job offer. I don't want to be on probation once I move to that state.
