AlaskaA low-income resident can qualify to receive free legal advice in Alaska from a non-profit such as the Alaska Legal Services Corporation (ALSC). Such services are provided through an online application process. In addition, there are self-help resources to assist individuals in navigating the court process.

- Free Advice: Free legal assistance is provided to those who meet income and case-related eligibility criteria of those at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines (see table). Alaskans aged 60 or older are not subject to such financial eligibility restrictions.

- Free Advice: The referral service will attempt to connect an individual with a free consultation. If a payment is required, it will be no more than $125 for the first 30 minutes with an attorney.
